not too bad
By jess

Its not a bad toy, its slower than it says it is and not much for inclines. my daughter seems to like it but its kind of a pointless toy for her seeing how the steering is a bit loose and the handle bar pops off with ease for my 2 yr old.

Lil Rider - just okay
By Kristen Kite

The rider is just okay. When you push the button is stays in, I'd prefer one that you have to push to make it go as it seems a little safer for the younger ones. My son is 18 months and enjoys it though. He can safely climb on it and off. The stickers are already peeling off after a month of use. It was easy to assemble. The rider would only be good on flat, smooth surfaces. On roughe or hilly surfaces, it just doesnt have the power. I would never pay full price for this but if you see a good sale then might be worth it.

don't be fooled by the price
By Dan

don't be fooled by the low price, you get what you pay for here. I compared the motor to the 6v motor from my sons power wheel go-cart. The power wheel had a substantially bigger motor with noticeably more torque for going through grass or sloped driveways. This is not a bad product for indoor use if you have a large living room or perhaps a gymnasium because the turning is poor also.

A lot of the internal wiring is exposed under the seat where the battery installs, and the seat is easily pulled off by my 18 m/o. He is very unlikely to be shocked or anything but tugging the wiring out of the components is too much to resist for a toddler.

The is no suspension what so ever, but what should you expect with a toy for a toddler. The biggest disappointment compared to the power-wheel is that only one rear wheel is power constantly requiring steering correction. Unlike the power-wheel which has a gear fixed to a solid rear axle to send power to both wheels causing a straighter driver and better performance.

The switch is awful
By Megan

Though the quality of the product is fine- it comes with only a switch to control it. One side goes forward, one back, and then off. There is no brake, no way to quickly stop. I assumed it was like others we had bought for our older kids that had a button. My 2 year old is very smart so I feel that he'll catch on quick but the moment of panic when he's heading for the dog and he can't stop was a bit scary though I'm sure we could have won $10,000 on AFV ;)
